VERDICCHIO DEI CASTELLI DI JESI
Denominazione di Origine Controllata
CLASSICO SUPERIORE
This wine is produced from very carefully selected grapes in our oldest
vineyards where the grapes are thinned out to reduce the production to 8-
9 tons per hectare.
Harvested in small crates, the soft pressing and the temperature controls
during fermentation mean that the grapes are cared for in the old traditional
way.
Lively and vibrant in colour, with a high alcoholic content, it has strength
and character.
It has a light and inviting fragrance with a harmoniously balanced taste
which is both full-flavoured and sweet-aromatic. It's a wine in evolution.
The yearly production of this selected wine is about 90.000 bottles.
The Tralivio is available in Sartarelli bottles of 750 ml, in borgognotta
bottles of 375 ml or in borgognotta magnum bottles of 1,5 litre. The magnum
bottle is available also in single wooden case.

We are going to give you some hints on how to combine this wine with
food, but please follow your taste!
Charming with sushi and raw fish, elaborated fish or white meat dishes,
such as fish soup, baked or grilled fish, rabbit or chicken in potacchio
(typical local dish). It goes wonderfully with mushrooms, truffles, tagliatelle
with truffles and medium mature cheeses.
Sensorial characteristics:
Of an intense straw yellow colour with greenish nuances.
Its fine elegant smell with notes of white fruits and citrus-fruits develops
into a subtle mineral aroma.
It has a rich alcohol zing and flavour but with its well balanced acidity
it becomes soft on the palate.
