For a long time we have been cultivating our olive groves with about 2.300 plants at an average altitude of 300 meters above sea level. The varieties of olives are the same ones which were cultivated in the past in this area, like Frantoio, Leccino, Pendolino, Carboncella and Raggia.
This oil reaches particularly valuable organoleptic characteristics due to several specific factors: the special harvesting system, called “brucatura” in Italian, which is carried out by hand when the fruits are properly ripe, the crushing of the olives by millstones and then the extraction of the oil at a low temperature.
An oil with aromas and flavors of freshly cut grass and almond and with a slightly spicy flavor typical of the olive cultivars from which it is made.
Sartarelli Olio Extra Vergine di Oliva is available in bottles of 750 ml or in 5 liter bottles.
