Verdicchio has always been at the heart of the Sartarelli production. To this extraordinary cultivar we owe everything, our success, our passion and what the company has become today. The idea of setting up a museum telling the story of Verdicchio came naturally to us. We wanted a place which would always be there to continually remind us of how precious Verdicchio is.

This museum of Verdicchio, called the In Verdicchio Veritas Museum, is not just a museum, it is a symbol. Starting with its structure which is ultra-modern, it has been built right next to the country house dated 1882, the historical headquarters of our company, subtly showing how everything is moving from the old times to the modern times. Looking into the future with courage is still the spirit of the Sartarelli family but without ever forgetting our traditions and our values, which are the essential roots of our business.

This is why he have spontaneously wanted to pay tribute to Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi.

The cube defines clearly and linearly the architecture of the museum. It gives to the museum a modernity of a very strong impact yet it blends in perfectly with the surroundings. All the materials used, wood, stones, steel and cork, combine perfectly with each other creating an unforgettable and unique ensemble full of charm and naturalness. The cork for its softness and the wood for its warmth have been carefully selected because they are natural elements and have a low impact on the environment. Moreover, the particular mix of steel and wood has made the structure earthquake-proof, an important factor for our territory. The use of cork isolates the several internal rooms so that there is a perfect constant temperature both during the cold winters and the hot summers.

The variegated and perfumed rose paths on the adjacent slope soften the geometric shape of the building making it blend even more harmoniously into the landscape. The roses are arranged according to the chromatic scale of our wine tasting, from the lightest to the darkest, and recall the colors of our wines with a unique sensorial path thanks to their beauty and their intense scent.
